Kimberly first came to Maui in 1986 and knew from
her first visit she would one day make Maui her home. She is
originally from Santa Cruz, California.
She attended University of California Santa Cruz, Cabrillo
College - Aptos, California,
San Mateo Community College- San Mateo, California, and California
State University- Chico
Kimberly was staff photographer for The American Red Cross
Disaster Services in San Francisco, photographing in times of
emergency such as the San Francisco-Loma Prieta Earthquake,
Yosemite Firestorm, Oakland Hills Firestorm, many residential
fires in San Francisco, as well as special events attended by
the Red Cross i.e.: The Annual Bay to Breakers Marathon, concerts,
and The World Series in Oakland and San Francisco. She was also
one of the team photographers for the minor league Chico Heat
Baseball Team in 1997 and 1998.
Kimberly moved to Maui in 1998, re-establishing her photography
business, specializing in weddings and family portraiture, hula
and landscapes of Hawaii. Her love of Hawaii and Hula is shown
in her artwork. She strives to present the Manawalea (Heart)
and Uhane (Soul) of islands.
All of Kimberly's images are original works of art. Each print
is custom printed, signed and lifetime guaranteed for color.
Her canvas prints are actual photographic prints which are stretched
and mounted on canvas, heat-sealed with a protective lacquer
finish.
